1 John 4:7 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
God is love. His love is unconditional towards His creation. Even though we disobey or walk away from His words, He brings us back to His fold and calls us His own; when we call upon Him. The Lord taught us the greatest commandment is to love our neighbors.
When we are not even able to extend this within our homes how often we fail in keeping to this Word.
It takes great humility and selfless attitude on each person to learn to love others as they are and to leave behind our egos, come out of our shells to learn to love, respect and accept others they way they are, just as how our Lord accepted us.
Lord teach us this day to love and respect our family, friends and every other person in our circle of life, to learn to know and understand we are all your handiwork, your creation, who are meant to co-exist and live to fulfill your purpose here on earth. Amen.
